Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 11 September 2022

Sales activity decreased 10.1 per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 841 transactions.

A closer look shows house sales decreased by 4.6 per cent, unit sales decreased by 16.7 per cent and vacant land sales decreased by 39.3 per cent.

Properties for sale

There were 8,199 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is fairly stable compared with the previous week.

A closer look at listing stock levels shows house listings increased by 0.9 per cent, unit listings increased by 1.5 per cent, and listings for vacant land decreased by 1.6 per cent.

Last week’s total figure is 3.6 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 2.1 per cent lower than a year ago.

 

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 1,898 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is stable compared with the previous week.

Last week’s rental listings figure is 10.5 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 18.3 per cent lower than a year ago.

Leasing activity increased 6.9 per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 667 properties leased.
