Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 30 September 2018

Sales activity decreased 14 per cent in Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 425 transactions.

This decrease is most likely due to the Queen’s Birthday public holiday last week.

There were 318 house sales, 66 unit sales and 41 land sales during the week.

Scarborough and Willetton were Perth’s top selling suburbs, recording nine and seven sales respectively.

Listings for sale

There were 13,748 properties for sale in Perth at the end of this week, which is one per cent less than last week.

Of the 13,748 listings, 8,248 were house listings, 2,806 were unit listings and 2,694 were land listings.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 7,297 properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week, which is in line the volume of listings recorded last week.
