Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 29 July 2018

Sales activity in Perth increased by three per cent this week, with REIWA members reporting 486 transactions.

This increase can be attributed house and land sales increasing by one per cent and 94 per cent respectively, despite unit sales declining 27 per cent.

Listings for sale

There were 14,158 properties for sale in Perth this week.

Listings for houses were stable, listings for units increased by two per cent and listings for vacant land decreased by two per cent.

This week’s total listings figure is on par with levels seen four weeks ago and five per cent higher than the same time last year.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 8,159 properties for rent in Perth this week.

This is two per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and 24 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
