Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 8 July 2018

There were eight per cent fewer sales in Perth this week than there were last week, with 519 transactions reported.

This overall decline was experienced across the board, with house, unit and vacant land sales declining by nine, 11 and six per cent respectively.

Listings for sale

There were 14,153 properties for sale in Perth this week.

Listings for houses decreased by one per cent, whilst listings for units remained stable and listings for vacant land increased by one per cent.

The total number of listings recorded this week is three per cent lower than four weeks ago and three per cent higher than the same time last year.

REIWA members reported there were 8,301 properties for rent in Perth.

This figure is one per cent higher than four weeks ago and 23 per cent lower than the same time last year.
