Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 15 July 2018

Sales activity in Perth declined two per cent this week, with 504 transactions reported.

This is attributed to a 38 per cent decline in land sales, however house and unit sales both increased this week, lifting by two and 19 per cent respectively.

Listings for sale

There were 14,261 properties for sale in Perth this week, with house, unit and land listings all increasing by one, two, and one per cent respectively.

This week’s listings figure is two per cent lower than four weeks ago and four per cent higher than a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 8,303 properties for rent in Perth this week.

This is on par with levels seen four weeks ago and 24 per cent lower than the same time last year.
