Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 1 July 2018

There was a four per cent increase in sales this week, with 573 transactions reported.

This overall improvement can be attributed to a four per cent increase in unit sales and a 45 per cent rise in vacant land sales, however house sales declined by one per cent.

Listings for sale

There were 14,171 properties for sale in Perth this week, with listings for houses and vacant land decreasing three per cent over the week and unit listings decreasing four per cent.

This week’s total listings figure is three per cent lower than four weeks ago and two per cent higher than a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 8,288 properties for rent in Perth this week.

This is one per cent higher than four weeks ago and 23 per cent lower than the same time last year.
