Your Tenancy Application (Ref N110608)

Finding a suitable property for lease can be a challenge in the current competitive market. There seems to be a lot of people seeking quality rental accommodation.

This being the case now more than ever a tenant must “put forward” a strong argument that they are the tenant most suitable. Often landlords are receiving 2 or 3 applicants for their rental property.

In your tenancy application it is wise in some instances to provide the following to enhance your chances of selection:

1.      Your previous rental history. A complete rental ledger will show the new landlord your rent payment history.

2.      Your bank account statement. Again your landlord is looking for consistent rental payments and your ability to afford the rent.

3.      Written referral letters from your previous landlord or agent.

4.      Ensure that all parts of the Application Form have been completed in full.

Painting yourself in the best possible light will enhance your chances of obtaining a property, so providing as much information as possible to assist the Property Manager in completing their checks, will positively affect your chances.
